This unit has been working like a champ for months. Then I went to add a new device. When syncing, it was telling me that my unit was "previously detected as returned under warranty". It was never returned. I bought it new from Amazon. Had no issues setting it up the first time and using it for months.
I tried to "recover" the unit at myharmony.com. The PC connects to the hub, applies a firmware update (each time I try this, it applies a firmware update, which seems odd.). On the subsequent step, when it is waiting for the USB connection to the remote, it never recognizes the remote. (Device manager shows a Harmony Remote, so the PC is happy.).
I tried to "reset" my Ultimate remote using the remote. It now just resets and shows the "myharmony.com" screen. I can press/hold Menu+Off until the remote vibrates, but it is still stuck as though it is waiting for the initial sync...which puts me back at the original problem.
I bought this new. It wasn't replaced under warranty. It has been working like a champ for months. I really like it. I want it back.
