Ultimate wont recover. Stuck at myharmony.com screen.
Đã trả lờiThis unit has been working like a champ for months. Then I went to add a new device. When syncing, it was telling me that my unit was "previously detected as returned under warranty". It was never returned. I bought it new from Amazon. Had no issues setting it up the first time and using it for months.
Soooo......
I tried to "recover" the unit at myharmony.com. The PC connects to the hub, applies a firmware update (each time I try this, it applies a firmware update, which seems odd.). On the subsequent step, when it is waiting for the USB connection to the remote, it never recognizes the remote. (Device manager shows a Harmony Remote, so the PC is happy.).
Soooo.....
I tried to "reset" my Ultimate remote using the remote. It now just resets and shows the "myharmony.com" screen. I can press/hold Menu+Off until the remote vibrates, but it is still stuck as though it is waiting for the initial sync...which puts me back at the original problem.
I bought this new. It wasn't replaced under warranty. It has been working like a champ for months. I really like it. I want it back.

Also have the same problem. The ultimate remote was working fine. Then out of the proverbial blue, it locked-up and froze. I performed a remote reboot as per instructions and now, "myharmony.com" is constantly displayed and the remote is unresponsive when connected to my Mac and is again frozen/locked-up; the buttons have been rendered useless. Help! -
I suspect there must be something wrong at Logitech's MyHarmony.com, see my other post. I tried to sync my Ultimate as well this weekend, worked well for months, but now it's of no use anymore. When I do recover I have to do it without Wifi (= no hub), otherwise the remote gets stuck at 98% during sync. I also had a Touch still lying around and guess what... I can use the hub and the Touch together and sync works 100% ok. So my conclusion is that the remote went bad or Logitech released a bad firmware. When I applied a sync this weekend, the remote firmware got updated to a new release I've never seen in the changelogs. What annoys me about this whole recover process is that there's not much you can do. -

Harmony ultimate I likewise have this problem and have just sent my logs in. I've tried factory reboot of hub - that seemed to work. Tried to reboot remote - including the press menu+off button - brings up white arrow but then goes back to myharmony Tried to reboot remote just pressing and hold off button - brings up initial splash page then goes back to myharmony Tried the recover in myharmony - hub reset but got stuck asking for remote. Since I first set up system, I have changed router. But can't seem to find way to get to reset up system again. Any advice welcome please. Cheers -
I have the same exact issue. i tried to do the firmware update and now the screen is stuck on the myharmony.com graphic. I've tried multiple factory data resets and hard reboots and it wont go past this screen. I've also tried to sync from multiple computers and that wont fix the issue either. I'm also having the same problem. I went to update the firmware when the message appeared on the remote. The update froze. Then I restarted the remote. It was not recognized when I tried to sync. So I cleared it out by holding down the menu + off buttons for 30 sec. I plugged it back in and the remot is still not recognized. Please PM me and let me know what to do to resolve this. I have a Harmony Ultimate Remote also, and it is stuck at the myharmony.com screen. I have tried a factory reset, and a regular reset, it will not do anything except come back to the "myharmony.com" screen. I also tried plugging it into my MAC and that doesnt do anything either. Please help -
Hello, I followed the instructions that were sent to me via private message for the recovery tool, unfortunately it did not fix my remote. The recovery tool did recognize the remote and appears to have upgraded the firmware (rebooted the remote and showed a new firmware #), but unfortunately I am still stuck at the "myharmony.com" screen after it is completed. Can you please help further? Thank you -
Can you tell me how this problem is fixed? It seems to affect quite a few peole, why cant you post the fix? My ultimate asked for a firmware upgrade and to log into myharmony and hit sync. when I did that myharmony said to hit sync on the remote-an endless cycle. Tech support told me to reinstall myharmony software, try different computers, etc. nothing worked. Tech support then told to do factory reset. I did that and the remote is stuck on myharmony screen and myharmony still tells me to hit sync on the remote. the troubleshooter doesnt pick up the hub or the remote.
