We strongly do not recommend the use of a USB hub as it causes connectivity and functionality issues with the device. I have the same problem, this is a Logitech blunder beyond belief. I' ve own this very expensive MX Master mouse for over a year using both Win 7 and 10 my PC is a very new Asus system and have tried every known fix I could find, so far it will behave 90% of the time using the Bluetooth option, RF link is hopeless. What really grabs me is that a cheap wilreless ($10.00) mouse from China works fautlessly. Logitech"s new moto "Sale and Forget".

Very interesting! How did you force 5Ghz mode for the dongle? I run Windows 7 (don't want 10's spying rubbish while I can avoid it), but I have a desktop machine running on ethernet from my router (which does have 5GHz wifi), not a wifi connection. I see no switch in the Options, nor in the Unifying, software. I was seeing similar reports of the 2.4 GHz channel being too busy and thought I might try Bluetooth instead, but I'd need to be on Windows 8 or above and I'm not willing to make that sacrifice...

This problem was current in both 2.4 ghz and bluetooth modes on both W7 & W10, just less so when using the bluetooth link. Certainly avoiding hubs and other so called fixes would help but not eliminate this fault. I can not see how this is anything but a design error, in excusable on a $100 mouse. Like I said earlier, my $10 2.4ghz mouse from China works fine.... I can say that a 1 ft slam on to my desktop does not help and so far no cracks in the MX housing... a strong housing is the only good feature on the MX..

matthew... As I said above I have been having this problem for over a year and have tried most every fix I could find without a lasting fix, works fine for days and then bingo stutter, jump....if this is not a design fault why does a cheap 2.4 Ghz dongle mouse work fine in exactly the same setup?

They won't send that one to me in France, but I'm probably going to buy http://amzn.to/2h9ma3Q even though it has no side scroll and no button that can be dedicated as an MMB, *and* it's on 2.4GHz so might have the same stuttering problem... Let's see what it's like - I shall be happy to post a review on here since Logitech obviously are not interested in the problems we are having.
Update 8.12.16 - I got that mouse and it's actually quite nice, but there's no software to customise the buttons so I returned it and am now waiting for the slightly more expensive http://amzn.to/2gnrNdm

After reading this thread and other support sources I can recommend the following for any Logitech mice including the MX anywhere suffering stuttering on Windows 10. In the device manager on Windows disable all power saving options for your Logitech mouse and unifying receiver found in advanced options for the driver in the device manager. Locate the unifying receiver on its own separate port if USB 3.0 away from all other USB 3.0 devices. Disable built in Bluetooth if using a laptop. This should improve mouse responsiveness I no longer have stuttering issues. Equally I have found that a Bluetooth Apple magic mouse works pretty well under Windows 10 without stuttering with appropriate drivers installed you may find the same for Bluetooth enabled Logitech mice just make sure you are using Bluetooth mode if using the MX anywhere 2 not the unifying receiver. Hope this helps someone.

I've moved the Unifying receiver to a port on the front of my machine - it's not very useful because it takes a port I would normally be plugging things in and out of all the time, but... - it seems to work. No stopping a button press, no stuttering in movement. It's only been a few minutes, so I won't get my hopes up yet :)
PS. Received an email from Logitech yesterday, asking about my issues with the MX Master! I thought it was going to start a dialogue about the problems with the mouse but my heart sank when the next line asked me if I was using USB3 and had installed SetPoint...

All these fixes will usually provide a temporary fix ...the lag, skipping tends to appear erratically whether linked by 2.4 Ghz or Bluetooth. I've tried all the online fixes...Bluetooth settings, USB isolation you name it. My PC uses both the MX Master and a K800 wireless keyboard with a single unifying dongle, not sure if this is a common denominator. In any case I feel that this is a Logitech dongle and or software fault, why has there been so little if any support from Logitech??? My best guess is that it could be the software and sharing a single dongle with muliple devices.

@Coolsiggy I suspect you may be right that this sits with Logitech that they need to do some work on the software, since I tried a colleagues non-logitech wireless mouse and it worked smoothly. I had wifi enabled on my laptop this morning and the mx anywhere mouse stuttered and skipped until I switched the laptop to airplane mode. @Logitech moderators if you're following these forums perhaps you should contact some of the forum members since we have all supported your products purchasing premium logitech products rather than no name brands and this is pretty poor in terms of support.

Okay, I've been running the mouse off the top front USB port on my machine for the last two days and it works perfectly. BTW, I bought the mouse I linked to and sent it back immediately to get this one instead http://amzn.to/2gnrNdm so that I get a software CD (otherwise it's the same mouse). This mouse is really nice and works excellently from the USB port at the back of the machine. The software is a bit lacking. While you can have several profiles for customising the buttons differently, the only switch between them is manual, there's no software-specific customisation possible. To be honest, for roughly €10, this no-name mouse is better in most respects than the Logitech one costing ten times as much. I will certainly be recommending it to my students.

My update, lagging skipping etc..
The MX master Mouse exhibits a range of faults, my problem is skips and lags. I also use a Logi K800 wireless keyboard and the use of 2 Logi wireless devices with a single unifying dongle appears to be my problem. When the MX mouse skips I shut off the K800 keyboard which immediately cures the fault. I use the 2.4Ghz pairing, Bluetooth does not appear reliable in pairing and no longer seems viable. Today I have installed 2 Logi unifying dongles thinking that dongle sharing is the culprit. So far I've had no skips.

There is no fix. I have two $100 paper weights now. I have both the MX Performance and the MX Anywhere mice. They both work fin on other devices. But on my Windows 10 machine they will not and I have had enough. I will save my MX Anywhere for my Macbook when I travel, but otherwise I am done with Logitech devices. I am replacing them all with other brands until they resolve this issue.
Honestly I feel it is some ploy by them to force users to get new mice. I have had mine for years now without issue and now nothing but issues.

I can really recommend this mouse from Amazon for €10 - http://amzn.to/2gnrNdm it has a cd with drivers that allow you to reprogram buttons, it's not as nice in that you have to switch between five different settings manually

I have has the same issue after about a year of use with each of the last 3 Performance Mouse MX, using them on Macs. I finally switched to the MX Master and it has been working amazing ... for about a year. I just purchased a brand new one for work and its already giving me the exact same lagging issues, but only after a week of use. One thing different is I am using the new MacBook Pro. I love these mice, but hate that the software keeps having the same issue!
