As of 7/7/2015, Samsung has begun rolling out USA updates to its Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablets. With the previous Kit Kat / Samsung enhanced Android system, the Logitech Folio blue tooth keyboard worked wonderfully. BUT....
Numoerous complaints are showing up around the web about what happened to our Logitech Keyboards after the update. I was forewarned, and could have skipped the update. But in the interests of science (heh) I went ahead.
All the reports are true.
Specifically, Lollipop (5.02 version) on the Note Pro *does* initially recognize the Logitech BT keyboard. And (stranger yet) when it asks for the key, and I typed that key in *from the Logitech keyboard* it accepted it and successfully "paired" with the keyboard.
But from then on, no more joy. The keyboard acts connected, in that one no longer sees the Samsung "pop up" virtual keyboard on screen. But when one types on the Logitech, there's nothing.
I went as far as to tweak various settings within the blue tooth and keyboard categories; nothing worked. I also installed a few different blue tooth "helper apps" -- no joy there either.
Logitech, HELP! I want to run the new Lollipop and have my cake -- er, blue tooth keyboard -- too!
UPDATE: I also have tried -- at Samsung's help desk's direction -- a factory reset of my tablet. That did *NOT* work. The issue remains unchanged.
