I'm going to go and write this missing feature into Amazon reviews, as now that I'm over £200 investment into Craft + MX mouse setup, this is one blinder of a stupid roadblock to seamless working!

This would be really handy ... Logitech product support any reason why this has not been implemented

Just wanted to +1 this, surely they could implement this into the Logi Options app?

I also feel this is a problem.. the Easy-Switch keys are a great idea - and the only reason I coupled my MX Master 2S with a MX keys - but they are pretty useless if the mouse does not follow the keyboard!

I totally support this idea for new feature. I invested in both MX keys and MX Master 3 and it would be great to switch both of them just by pressing the keyboard easy-switch buttons.

Flow is offering this functionality somwhow but my experience with linking the keyboard was not very successful (it would only switch the keyboard every other time when moving the mouse over) and since installing Options is not an option anyway on my work laptop, Flow is just not the right solution.

I just wanted to make a post about exactly this.
I cannot believe that the keyboad follows the mouse if Flow is active but that
I cannot let the mouse follow the keyboard when I switch by pressing the key on the keyboard...

Logitech - Please implement this feature. The keyboard switching is easy, but switching the mouse is a pain. It would be great if we could switch both with the keyboard button.

Are we still waiting for this feature with no response from Logitech?

looking for the same - why you can't do some grouping of the devices to do easy-switch for all group members....

    unbelieveable logitech...

I bought a K780 initially to share the keyboard with an iPad and Mac Mini.  I was so blown away by how brilliantly simple the system was, that I bought an easy switch mouse to go along with it.  Little did I know that adding a mouse to the mix would make the easy-switch system not-so-easy: because I have to manually switch both devices to the target system.

This is a little more difficult to do with the mouse (M720) as the easy switch function is accessible through a single button and an LED indicator to show you which device you're currently connected to.  This means that, for the mouse, switching is not just one-click but multiple clicks depending on how many devices you have and if you clicked one-too-many times and need to go through the cycle again.

As the keyboard has dedicated switch buttons, it would have been most convenient just to set the mouse to follow the keyboard.  Did Logitech not have the foresight that people would want both a keyboard and a mouse with easy-switch functionality?

I realize that there are some special scenarios when you want the keyboard to control one device and the mouse to control the other... but this to me is the exception.

I hope Logitech is able to fix this issue, which seems to be an easier task than their fancy Logitech Flow.

MX keyboard Switch 1,2,3 should switch both keyboard and MX Master 3 mouse! It is not user friendly to switch keyboard and mouse separately. Please improve.

Yeah this manual switching isn't any ''fun''! I can move my mouse across three devices with no problem.... it's remembering to switch the keyboard as it doesn't auto-switch (and it was at one point, as the light would auto-switch), otherwise I'm typing on the wrong screen/device!

*EDIT :  Should have checked my settings before commenting, Keyboard link was disabled, Working now!

Hello Logitech, improve this, it is a broken feature and you guys know it.

You have to remember this is Logitech. They don't get the best of devs working for them. Low level company that doesn't pay much. So we are basically stuck with a community college dropout level team that will probably never implement something as simple and as helpful as this.

Give these guys a break Ace. I'm sure they can program in a simple one button switch, especially when the software already allows for both devices to switch at the same time! We'll see what happens - if they don't implement this (much requested) feature in the next two weeks, then I guess you're right. Otherwise, you owe them an apology.

@Peter - This thread is a YEAR old and the issue was brought up even months before this thread was even created. I am assuming that is sarcasm?

Similar post with official comment here if anyone's interested https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360050198974-How-to-switch-both-mouse-and-keyboard-among-multiple-devices

Also more info for anyone who stumbles on this post: this is possible to do with Logitech Flow, but only by moving your mouse to the edge of the screen to switch devices.

If you press the Easy-Switch keys on either the mouse or the keyboard, only that one device will switch. As a bonus, Flow will break.

    In other words:

    1. Your mouse and keyboard are both set to device 1

    2. You move the mouse to the edge of the screen (of device 1). Both mouse and keyboard switch to device 2 together.

    3. You press the "1" key on your keyboard. Your keyboard changes back to device 1. Your mouse is still on device 2.

    4. You move your mouse to the edge of the screen (of device 2). Nothing happens.

If you press the "1" key on your mouse to manually sync up, Flow will start working again.

This would be such a useful function.
I constantly have to switch between my personal and work computers and always have to do it on both devices: MX Keys and MX Master. The ideal experience would be for the 3 keyboard buttons to switch the mouse also.
Logitech Flow is not a solution since most corporate machines will not allow for the installation of 3rd party applications (obviously for security purposes).
    Logitech, please address this!

I second the fact that Flow is not necessarily a workable solution.  I have a work pc and home pc I switch between, and they cannot be connected to the same network, which flow requires to function correctly.

My use-case is sharing a single monitor between two computers by switching inputs on the monitor.  Using Logitech Flow (with edge-screen detection) doesn't work at all in that situation because if I enable it, then any time the mouse hits the edge of the screen I'm working on I start randomly typing on a different computer and I can't even see what or where I'm typing.

The solution to that is fairly trivial.  Instead of using screen-edge detection to have the keyboard follow mouse, just add a global hotkey to directly switch to another computer running Logitech Flow.  You could even activate the hotkey with a mouse gesture.  All the code is already written!  It just needs to be activated in a way that doesn't use edge-detection.

Par for the course when it comes to companies like Logitech.  The low rent community college dropout devs won't help you much here...

So this thread has been around 2 years, and the feature request has been around 2 years prior to this thread? I just gave an "up arrow" to the original post.

I got the Logitech MX-Master 3 Mouse, and it would seem like a no-brainer to have the mouse from the same company follow the "Easy Switch" on my Logitech MK850 keyboard, without having to turn the mouse upside down every time.

And I also agree that running the mouse off the screen is a bad solution.

I'd like to add to the thread that I have a monitor (LG) with a remote control input. I think it would be "optimum" if we could also tie the "Easy Switch" from the keyboard to the input control on the monitor. Then Logitech would have a feature they would be proud to call "Easy Switch"!

Does Logitech read these forums, and do they know customers would be very happy with such features?
