    Hi Marcus Behnke,

Thank you for reaching Logitech! We deeply apologize for not providing a prompt response. Allow us to answer your inquiry about the MX Keys and MX Master 3 connection.

Apparently, there are no option or settings that we can have both mouse and keyboard change it's channel by pressing a button on either of them. It is definitely one of the popular request of users even for other devices from Logitech to have the same feature.

We have already forwarded the concern to our team. We cannot promise that it will be implemented but allow us the opportunity to raise the issue and ask for consideration.

If you have further inquiry, please do not hesitate to reach back to us or contact our support team for direct assistance.

    Regards,

    Logi_Matt

Is there an update on this?  I too would love this feature, would be a major time saver.  I use a Windows machine running through a VPN and Macbook on my local WLAN so I need to switch between the two different computers because technicaly they're not on the same network.

Especially when more and more people are now working at home and taking turns in different applications.

Would love this as well, adding my vote!

It's a real pain having to pick up the mouse and press the button there. I'm using this on a device without the ability to install logitch options

was just about to file the same feature request. I clearly second this. Flow isn't an option for me either and switching between different conputers (which i am doing all day) is a pain if you always have to switch both devices - and it happens all the time, that i have mouse and KB on different boxes. Actually i am surprised that this obvious feature hasn't been implemented right from the start, as the benefit is obvious.

Just bought the combo kit. Switching both with keys was obvious, at least to me.

    Please add this feature!

Logitech guys, this is 2020. This is just a sad and sorry response. Go fix it!

This feature would ad a ton of value. There are too many barriers to setting up Logitech Flow, including devices being on seperate networks and using devices that Flow is not available on (iPad).

It is for this feature that I bought the MX Keys and the MX Master ( I mis-understood the marketing blurb, clearly!). I'm amazed that this doesn't work. The Flow function is pretty neat, but isn't stable enough to use reliably. It's laggy and gets confused. The keyboard gets out of sync with the mouse frequently.

Answered but not solved. I need this. Flow is not an option as I am working on 2 VPNs simultaneously and lifting the mouse to press the switch is more trouble than one should have. If at least we could assign a combination with the thumb button, that would already be an improvement but switching both the mouse and the keyboard with the key is also my preferred option.

I support this feature request and have wondered about the absence of this functionality since the day I got an MX Keys to supplement my MX Master 2S.

My use case: I have 2 personal machines (a Mac and a PC), and another Mac provided by my employer. Each machine has its own Unifying Receiver. Both the mouse and the keyboard have an identical set of hosts they connect to.

Since both the MX Keys and the MX Master have  Bluetooth, it must be possible to establish direct keyboard-to-mouse communication to keep them in sync. Like others have said, Logitech has missed out big here by not including this functionality from the get go, especially given how Logitech is actively marketing Keys & Master 3 as a combo.

I would also like to see this feature. I just got the mx master 3 and mx keys and was disappointed that my employer is apparently blocking the ports need for flow. So it would be nice to at least be able to use the keys on the keyboard to switch both the keyboard and mouse. For such and expensive set of devices I would have expected this to work.

I need this feature. Flow is garbage! I can not understand how to set it up so it works as it should. For example simple feature - if computer where mouse is active goes off mouse flow goes to other device which is online. But instead my mouse/keyboard got stuck un turned off pc. This is so stupid!!!

I can see that devs on Logitech team doesn't use their own products!

I desperately want this feature. I love my MX Keys + Master but Flow does not work for my use case across my three computers. Being able to synchronize both devices switching from the buttons on the keyboard would be amazing. Please add this feature!!

I'm following this as well. Please add this feature! It's why I bought the combo in the first place...

2021 and counting - is this technically impossible, or what's the reason for not implementing a global master switch for connected devices? The fact that the "easy switch" sits on the bottom of the mouse does not really help.

Maybe it is a security issue that prevents remote control of device connections? (which I can understand since the last flaw in Logitech's unifying system killed around 200 devices in our company. - It was shockingly amusing to see all these nano-USB-receivers sitting in the jar to get dumped after less than a year of use)

I fact it would have been helpful if the keyboard and mouse would indicate their connection via a color code of the background illumination, such that it is obvious to see which computer the devices connect to.

Good news is I am not alone, because I thought I must be missing something pretty fundamental. Surely Logitech technology would capture something so critical to giving the keyboard/mouse combo seamless operation. Particularly the clumsiness of lifting the mouse seemed to me like I was missing something in my setup. I am loud and clear in my support of solving this issue. Would make a believer out of me if Logitech would respond.

Love the MX Keys, just got it and an MX master. I apparently did not do enough research because I bought these on the premise that the keyboard would sync with the mouse and allow fast switching together. In any case, being able to map the mouse switching key to any of the other buttons on the mouse would have been nice...

Can you just add the feature to Flow? Flow can already detect if the mouse moves to the edge of the screen, then switch the KB/Mouse focus from one computer to the other. Maybe, just have Flow detect when the keyboard is switched from one computer to the other, and switch the mouse along with it.

Flow is not an option in many cases (e.g. when using a VPN) as computers need to be on the same network which in remote work is very often not the reality. I need to be able to switch my mouse, keyboard and why not headset (could you make it a parameter to be configured by the user?) without having to flip my mouse over to hit the switch. The cheap marathon MX702 has this implemented right. High end products like the MX series should be corrected. I wouldn’t mind having one of the many top buttons of the MX Master repurposed. The thumb lower button would be a good candidate for me

Flow does not work for me as well.  I have a machines issues by my work that I cannot install software on.  This needs to be hardware based in the keyboard.  It is shameful that Logitech does not respond or have already implemented this.  This thread is over a year old.

I know! I'm keeping it alive hoping to prod logitech to make some moves on it. I really like the MX keys and MX master combo, and really feel such a feature would really elevate it.

They have already started implementing it in cheaper lines of products. My guess is that their strategy is to make us forget until they release a new and improved MX Master 4/ Keys that make us spend more - make them suck more - money

    PLEASE!!!!

And for the Master 4... please move the device selector to a more convenient location.  Even allow us to program the selector on a custom button.

Count me as another who wants this feature.  I have a home machine and a work machine.  Flow will not function with work's restrictive VPN. The amount of times I have accidentally create input on the wrong computer is super frustrating.  Lifting the mouse is annoying enough, having to hit the button on the keyboard as well is even worse.

Bind the devices and let them switch to another computer by pressing the button on either the keyboard or the mouse.  Allow the bottom computer switch button on the mouse to be mapped to a more easily accessed button on the mouse.  I have found a ton of people asking for the same thing all over the place.  It's been over a year since this thread was created.
