I have the same request. How and where can we get the MX keys in the US ANSI layout in Europe?

I have exactly the same request. Or is it possible to order the MX Keys via the US website?

I am adding my vote here. Let us buy the layout we want! I will not buy G915 if it is sold with the double-sized Enter key. Let us buy what we want not what you believe we need. Everybody I know here in Poland prefers ANSI US International keyboard with the rectangular Enter key. But you sell ISO...

No other manufacturer does it! Every big manufacturer sells ANSI! Corsair, Dell, Razer, Modecom... but you don't.

I wanted to buy G915 but I will not with this ridiculous layout.

I will not even bring the topic of how confusing it is to find information about what layout is actually sold here and there. Total mess...

Soooo... logitech support send me an answer: it seems they do not (want to) understand that non-US consumers also like to use US-ANSI layout.

    QUOTE:
We would like to inform you that the image used for advertisement is a generic layout which is a USA ANSI layout keyboard. This layout is only sold in USA and it is not sold on our Logitech European websites. Logitech follows the ISO/IEC 9995 standards as much as possible, especially when it comes to Latin script keyboards. This standard defines the key layouts in order to have the correct language printing and is a standard used by keyboard manufacturers in Europe.

Well, I will not buy their keyboard then... what bullshit. Every other keyboard and laptop I have uses ANSI standard. In Europe... And I am used to it, I am using it at work, at home, everywhere. Muscle memory would kill me if I used one layout at home, other at work and maybe the third one somewhere else.

Logitech, please, don't be an asshole to the customers. Allow them to buy whatever they need...

I second this request. All keyboards I've been using have ANSI layout and when I got a Logi i was surprised I started missing left shift and enter.

Is there any way to buy a US keyboard off the official Logitech store to Europe?

I am trying to figure it out via their support and social media for like a month... I hope there is a chance :/

Same here, I don't get why manufacturers can be so blind and it pisses me off. I really like the look of the keyboard, but receiving a keyboard that is not in the same as the pictures it is advertised with by every online store is unacceptable. I'm also a dutch programmer and I haven't seen a keyboard with a double sized enter in more than 10 years ...

Your excuse of sticking to standards is also invalid since you have already deviated from it by not splitting the left shift key

I have sent multiple emails to their support team since Mon, 27 Apr. Still, I did not receive any, even partially useful, piece of information...

After a longe dispute with Logitech Support team, I have received some answers. I quote:

"I have got a few customer's requesting the same layout before and I have already shared this feedback with my internal team.

Please do not worry your voice is heard and shared as well.

I hope you understand that's the best I could do in this situation and it further depends on the higher management to make the necessary changes.

I believe the changes will soon take effect and you will find keyboard with the layout you are looking for soon in the market."

I encourage anyone visiting this forum post to send emails with the same question so they know there is a need for that change. Maybe it will cause a quicker response to our requests.

Tell this to the actual keyboard manufacturers selling keyboards in Europe like Dell, HP, Microsoft, Apple who are all selling the ANSI US International layout per default in at least The Netherlands.

Please at least provide it as an option. Thanks!

I am posting this just in case there is anyone still hoping for a ANSI layout in Europe: Don't. They do not care.

I've also contacted support. Initially, i got the usual useless canned response as people have in this thread. I eventually told them my country has the ANSI layout as the standard, explained it with a wikipedia link, EXPLAINED THAT I JUST WANT TO BUY THE RIGHT KEYBOARD, but the response was as follows:

Thank you for writing to Logitech.

I would like to inform that currently the ISO layout is sold in Europe for all language layout by Logitech. We do not have any updates as to when the keyboard will be sold in ANSI layout in Europe. We would not suggest you to buy the product from US as it comes under International warranty. We at Logitech do not support International warranty.

We really apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your cooperation.

For future reference, your ticket number for this issue is '3813289' and you can reference it should you have any further questions regarding this case.

    Thank you for choosing Logitech!

    .........

Not only do they do they not want to provide a ANSI layout, they also go out of their way to say you shouln't get one from the US.

If there is anyone still hoping logitech cares about what you think: they don't.

I am looking for ANSI layout as well. Sad to hear that Logitech don't care about users requests :(

I've also been looking for ANSI all over Europe. No luck so far. I've contacted a couple of the bigger retailers in my country to ask about more details of the listed products, as one of them simply had "US layout" listed as "standard". After asking whether that means "US layout with ANSI" or "US layout with ISO", they pretty convincingly stated, that US layout means ANSI. Checking the product number stated otherwise (920-009416).

I'm glad I found this thread. It shows that there are more desperate souls, that want to have their voices heard.

I'll definitely not buy a Logitech keyboard unless it's the right for me, especially when I pay a premium price for it. So I do hope M K's comment will lead to some changes.

Thankfully I am not insane and not the only one with this problem.

I was impressed enough by reviews and videos to warrant a near instant purchase only to find the only available variants to be ISO. Instant dealbreaker.

The fact that you don't have a choice of keyboard layout in an entire region of 500+ million people is astoundingly stupid.

Just to share some feedback. Since it was not possible to get an ansi layout keyboard in europe i ordered one through the US. Search on Amazon on article 920-009294 and find a shop who ships it to your country. I ordered mine for a total of 130 euro (Incl shipping and import fees to the Netherlands).

    +1 from me

Edit: bought mine in the US and take it with me back to Europe. At the moment the only solution to get one here.

Same here. I can kind of live with the ISO US version but it's not what "US layout" means to any developer. Since developers are the primary audience the keyboard is marketed too, this should be made more obvious. And it doesn't help that the marketing material (speak product imagery) on the website shows the correct US ANSI layout keyboard when selecting "US international" in the store.

We probably can't expect that CORPO will hear us.
This is why Logitech will always stay a shi___ company!

Well, this thread started over a year ago and no change since then. Sad but true.

Funny fact. I am typing this on a Logitech UltraX (from back in the days, hence time for a new one) with the proper layout sold right here in NL.So they must have changed their policy since then. They claim the MX keyboards are designed for programmers, but then they clearly do not understand that programmers will only even want ANSI layout.

This is ridiculous. They advertise the keyboard as designed to fully adjusts to your needs, with a lot of different and programmable keys, and yet they disallow you to choose the layout you want... Whoever made that decision is totally incompetent in recognizing clients needs - this thread confirms that.

If they do care so much about which layout is available in which country then at least they shouldn't use the US ANSI keyboard images on their product pages!

I am not going to buy any Logitech product unless I get to choose the keyboard layout I want.

    Hi Sha S,

I think Raymond has no warranty because he bought keyboard from USA and he lives in Europe. Logitech has no international warranty.

He can't buy Logitech keyboard in Europe, because Logitech refuses to sell keyboards with proper (US ANSI) layout in Europe.

If someone from Europe needs valid layout, it has to be bought from USA, so without warranty in Europe.

    Regards,
    Rafał
