    Answered, ha ha ha guys are you for real. I have the same problem with your overpriced mouse. and several more with the MX keyboard. 

    Can you please invest some of money we paid to your RnD teams.

    I have the same EXACT problem using my MX Anywhere 2S when used on VIBER desktop app. Scrolling is the WORST of any mouse I have ever used. I hope this gets fixed!

    So this issue is still not fixed and it looks like it will never be fixed. Great work Logitech. I will never buy any of your products again.

    Experiencing the same issue and not just in a single app. The horizontal scroll feature is simply unreliable. Please fix it!

    Francesco, unfortunately, the problem is still actual. Nothing changed. I'm tired to send them examples of the problem. Including photos, even dozens of videos. They have usual SCRIPTed answers, like, " please update your logi options". In Viber (don't know, how in other Apps) personally, for me, it's unbelievable to work. Hate this issue!

    Same problem here, I was buy a certain amount of logitech product, and I now I think to buy an other brand because I paid a 120$ with a not working wheel.

    I'm a python developer and honestly it's annoying to work all days with this bug without any information online or any driver to update the mouse or the firmware to work properly !

    I just got my MX Master 3 to be used on my Mac 16 Inch and noticed this issue.  Its disappointing there's no solution to this issue after almost a year.  Even my $10 wireless mouse have no issue with this.

    Upvote for this. Driving me demented. I am on Big Sur and the action assigned to the thumb rest button also changes/disables in line with this. No discernible cause

    1. Please uninstall the Logi Options software and restart the system (mandatory).
    2. Install the software using the link: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/360025297893
    3. For macOS, after installation, set the macOS permissions: Options & Permissions: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/360023203954
    4. Configure the Application Specific Setting using the steps in the link: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/360023184154-Configure-Application-Specific-settings-with-Logitech-Options-software
    5. If the issue persists, create a new profile on the same computer or check with a different computer/device.

    We would suggest you follow the above troubleshooting steps and check if those help. You can also download the Logitech Option+Beta version and check if that helps. The Options+ application is still being developed, and is currently not available for download from the Logitech support site. The notifications for beta testing are sent through emails/Options notifications/blog posts, and the feedback/suggestions from you are used to further improve the app. You can check the FAQs link below for Option+Beta below:

    These official recommendations = ⛔️ ARE NOT WORKING! ⛔️ I've tried it twice!

    👆The last link even does NOT exist at all. Lol. You are really thinking, we are stupid monkeys?

    The situation is the same as in 2020.
    In Viber App scrolling ❌ DOES NOT WORK ❌ normally and stably.No matter in "ratchet" or "free spin mode"

    Exactly! The last link is fully crashed (no working). 
    But it doesn't even matter, because all official recommendations from Logitech 1) 2) 3) – DOESN'T FIX the problem. I think they are really DON'T care about this problem at all.

    1. What is the firmware version? Is it 19.01.0015 or the latest?
    2. Please make sure to update the OS to the latest.

    3. The scroll works differently from default after starting the "logi deamon".

    2. OS is updated
    3. Viber is the only one that has issues; all other apps work fine. Viber is something I still frequently use at work, therefore I sincerely hope you can resolve this problem.
