    Sorry, that doesn't work or i misunderstood something as english is not my native language.

    When i push the OK button on the harmony, that send to the tv as if it was the long press on the ok button of the original tv remote. So instead of launching apps, it opens a menu.

    For example you can see in the screenshot the menu that appears when i push OK on Emby (or any other app) instead of launching the app.

    Hi,

    I am also not native speaking. In school 50 years ago I mainly had grades 5, 3 points or E depending on the system:-)

    I try to explain it with a few more details. Use the App or remote in device mode and check if there is a command that only works as OK short and another command that works as OK long. Now you have the possibility in MyHarmony to assign which command will be send if a certain button is pressed. If OK in device mode also opens the menu maybe the repeat value for the TV is to high. Repeat can also be changed in MyHarmony. 1 is lowest, 3 is highest.

    Thank you for your help.
    Finally i made it working. I had to program the ok button with the original Philips remote but it didn't work at the first try. I had to reprogram it a few times.

    I have exactly the same issue...

    When i press on OK in Android TV on an app i also get a menu with options, the same as in Cedric picture.

    When i use the original Philips remote and press OK the app opens, when i long press OK on the original remote i get this option screen.

    So my harmony uses LONG press OK instead of short OK.

    I tried to relearn the button using an USB cable on my harmony Elite and pressing shortly the OK button on the original remote. Harmony software accepts it and after syncing nothing is changed....

    The harmony remote still triggers the option menu instead of direct opening the selected app.

    Any idea how to fix this?

    @Cédric B

    The solution is much simplerer.

    Just lower the timeout time in settings for the button interactivity, it is default on 4, i lowered it to 3 and it worked (without learning).

    I can't find this setting. Is it in Android app or in the Windows app ?

    @Cédric B

    I did it on my windows PC with MyHarmony, but is should also be possible using the app on your phone.

    Choose devices, your Philips TV, then the option Change device settings (power, source etc)

    Choose: repeat of device commands (last option in list).

    I changed this from 3 in to 2, saved it, synced my remote and the problem was gone.
