Logi Options+ is preventing shutdown

    I forgot to mention, that the problem arised on a new computer. So I see no point in doing a clean boot. Also note that the shutdown message appears because your program does not stop shortly after Windows sends it a "stop now, we are shutting down" message. I don't see why would the delay be shorter after a reinstall.

    But let's assume for a moment, that this is a working solution for the problem. Do you really expect all people, who encounter "This app is preventing shutdown" to reinstall Logi Options+ in a clean boot environment? That's ridiculous.

    Please file a bug for the developent team. When setting the severity, take into account all the customers whom I have quoted. Please do not pretend that the source of the problem is in my computer. It is your bug, so fix it!

    FYI: Both Logi Support comments are found several times word by word on this site. They just copy-paste it everywhere with zero effort to understand the issue.

    • Reinstall with a clean boot: ~15 times.
    • We will pass it to the team: ~500 times. I wonder, how many of these are resolved by the "team".

    Let's face it. It is a 6 year old bug. Frequent enough, that Logitech employees also have seen it, but they didn't fix it. It won't be fixed. That is what you get for your money.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the logi options+, and the 'Logi_Devio_MainWindow' is gone, but 't' emerged......

    I have this problem every time I log out or shutdown.  Logi_Devio_MainWindow causes a delay, sometimes quite long.  It usually clears but no other software on Windows does this.  I am using the latest version of Logi_Options+ v1.26.5989 on Windows 10 22H2.

    I hope someone from Logitech will provide a response other than doing a clean boot as this is clearly a software bug.

    I have the same issue--Logi_Devio_MainWindow causes a delay shutting down Windows 11.  I'm using the latest Logi+ software.

    Come on Logitech--fix this!!  Users should not have to spend the time doing an uninstall and clean boot in the hopes of fixing YOUR problem.
