Night vision is visible up to 15 feet and may require external lighting in some cases. If you are using a Window Mount, we recommend using the camera in Window Mode (Settings menu > Camera Mount).
If your Circle’s night vision is not working, try toggling Night Vision on and off (Settings menu > More Settings > Night Vision). If that doesn’t resolve the issue, try performing a few simple night vision tests:

- Place your camera in a completely dark space, like the inside of a drawer, to see if Night Vision turns on (you should hear a click and see red LEDs around the lens for Circle and a red LED at the top of the camera module for Circle 2). The drawer simulates the lighting conditions of a night time environment.
- Restart the camera:
- Circle Cameras: Push the switch on the bottom of the camera into the OFF position, and push the switch back into the ON position. When you turn the camera back on, you should hear a "click" sound during the bootup cycle.
- Circle 2 Cameras: Separate the mount (or Rechargeable Battery) and camera modules, then re-attach the modules.
