If you have problems finding music in your library, try the following:
Clearing and rescanning your music library
To look for music that may be new or have changed:
-
Open the Logitech Media Server Control Panel. You can access it from the task bar in Windows or System Preferences on a Mac.
-
On the Status tab, in the Media Scan Details section, click the drop-down menu and select "Clear library and rescan everything."
-
Click Rescan.
Logitech Media Server will now rescan your entire media collection.
If rescanning your music library doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to clear the Logitech Media Server cache.
-
Windows (see answer 360023386333)
-
Macintosh (see answer 360023386333)
After you clear your cache, try clearing and rescanning your music library.

Resolve iTunes issues
-
Logitech Media Server reads the iTunes Media Library from an XML file. If this file becomes corrupt, you may need to rebuild your iTunes library or reinstall iTunes itself. (NOTE: For support with iTunes, please contact Apple.)
