The Apple Home app lets you disable the Status LED. This comes in handy when the camera is placed behind a window or when the LED is distracting.
- Open the camera Live view.
- Tap the settings icon on the top left — this should bring up the settings menu for the camera.
- Toggle off the Camera Status Light.
